Today our featured team member is Natalie Berens. She is a senior at Brainerd High. She is doing P.S.E.O. at Central Lakes College. I asked her what she would like to be able to take out from her experiences through robotics. "I wanna be able to say that I was a part of this. We took what we had and built this machine to the best of our ability. We did what we could, but we had fun building it too." I asked what her plans were after graduation. "I plan to attend college. Major in physics and minor in history. My dream job is to basically smash particles together. If I were to do something with history as a profession I would probably teach or I would like to work in a museum." I asked if being one of only two girls on the team bothered her at all. "No. I grew up with an older brother and a younger brother. I'm used to it. They aren't as sexist as most guys. I think that a lot of the time they are waiting for us to go and show them up. They stopped being surprised after the first few times. We all get along pretty well though, it makes it enjoyable to be here."
